You’ve heard it before: It’s the little things. When it comes to self-care, it is indeed the little things that can bring you bliss.
Better still, these 10 simple treat-yourself tricks don’t cost a thing because luxury shouldn’t have to require loot.
Take a long walk around a local park—alone or with a buddy.
- Turn your shower into a sanctuary with candles, aromatherapy products, soft lighting, a plush bathrobe and a skin-smoothing scrub.
- Take a mental health day and pamper yourself.
- Throw fresh sheets on your bed.
- Pick wildflowers and make a table centerpiece.
- Watch the sunset.
- Linger over coffee or tea on Sunday morning.
- Lose yourself in a good book.
- Turn up your favorite song and dance.
- Take a nap.
